Netflix subscription price rises announced

Yeah it actually annoyed me so much that I sent a message to their support saying it's ridiculous on a paying streaming service that I am getting adverts.

I need to cancel either my movies or entertainment plan to see if they give me a deal. Last time I got 3 months of movies for £7

Use ebay, there are some silly cheap deals on there if you see them at the right time. ebay are quite quick at taking them down so you need to check daily in the run up to the end of a current sub.

My last few months of entertainment have been like £2.20 and movies a little over £4, although i've let the movies lapse as I hadn't watched anything from them in months.

Still happy to pay they don't take the **** and do a VM hiking up prices for every month that end in a "Y and "R"

I wonder if scheduled TV's days are numbered? Apart from the news, we watch most things on subscription based TV, catchup.. or record for later watching.

Their TV app now forces an advert for another show at the start of shows, it's very annoying.

However for about £2-3/month entertainment pass and the content available, I can put up with it.

Yeah that too and same, I'm on £7.99 for 3 months offer or something silly like that at the moment.

Seeing how I haven't watched live TV in years and don't pay TV licence, having Netflix subscription is basically my replacement for it. That and having bunch of people leech off my account means I get the odd free pint or takeaway :p

Looks like this is coming into play for the end of August for £11.99 on the 4K tier.

Not using it much lately, unsure if it's worth keeping it all the time, especially when you can just sign up and binge a couple of good shows on it.

Still have respect for Netflix for making shows that probably wouldn't get made otherwise, which is one reason I have kept it running at £10/month until now.
