Hi all
I recently set up a range max router for a friend of mine and the blue light in the middle of the router that goes round is now stuck on all the time and they have lost their connection. Does the fact that the blue light has stopped going round indicate that the router is faulty or that the phone line coming in has lost the adsl signal?

Thanks

What are the Blue Lights?

The dome LEDs turn on when each of the seven antennas transmits. The antennas adapt to the interference in the users operating environment. Because RangeMax is surveying the environment for interference, adapting to give the fastest connection, the lights are constantly changing. The lights are useful to monitor performance, and so cannot be turned off.

Apparently. Thats for the WPN824, and I assume its the same for all the rangemax stuff with blue lights. :)

Here.

So, yes, the wireless may have died, they may also have accidently turned it off, or some other weird problem has accured.

I dont think will have turned it off as they ouldnt know how to get into the settings. So I guess the hardware has failed.
