I have a macbook pro and i want to take advantage of the time capsule feature, would i be able to do this with the WESTERN DIGITAL My Book Live

yeah thats the one and yeah i am on Lion. just did a bit on googling and it looks like Western have fixed this problem to make their product compatible

also had a gander at their website and seems to be compatible so i may end up purchasing.

You should try looking in Dixons its relatively cheap.The western digital I'm looking at costs £138.25 from amazon but only £89.99 from Dixons.

Also if your looking for something expandable, wouldn't it be better to buy something like a NAS
