Hi all,

Another thread about one of my cars being hit….

1st was the C250 full smacked in the back on a slip road,

Then the E63 getting the rear quarter hit, then a fence panel hitting it while parked.

Latest….640D parked while I took my daughter swimming. Came back to a note on the screen “sorry I reversed into your drivers door” with phone number

The door doesn’t line up with wing anymore and is slightly creased (the door hinge behind the out skin pressing through?)

What’s the best way to go about getting it sorted? She replied to my message, I now have her car details. Do I give her mine then get quotes which she sorts with her insurance?

The E63 accidents were paid in cash for repairs. Don’t want to do it wrong if through insurance

Edit: zoom in and you can see the door/wing gap difference

She never made it into, Show us your motors

Edit 2: bit better picture of damage, doesn’t look much but probably a pain to fix.

Fair play to her for stopping and leaving her details.

Due to the lack of “scrape” I would imagine most would have just done one in hope you didn’t notice long enough for you not to be able to track when or where it happened.

Yeah, I'm thinking there may have been a few people around. It was right outside a sport centre.

she replied earlier saying she's out til late tonight and she'll send me all her details tomorrow...

If she suddenly goes radio silent, can I pursue anything with just her number plate and 1st name/phone number?

Yes, the police should be quite interested.

I keep getting excuses for her not sending her insurance details across. What should I do if I hear nothing by the EOD?

and now another excuse! details by 6:30 this evening....

I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt for now....

Get your insurer to pursue, you've got the messages as proof she's at fault let them do what you pay them for.

Definitely been evasive by only providing her first name. I wouldn't have thought you'd need her insurance details, just whomever she's insured with and then her full name.

Something doesn't sound right with this one.

If you ask the sports centre nicely, they might review the CCTV footage and supply you with the registration, and ask them to save it as evidence of the incident if the insurance request it. You might have to show them the text messages to prove you are not just a mad stalker however.
