1) Have I missed the first episode of the new series?
2) Was it the one with Preston?
3) Is there anywhere to download it legally?

I ask number 3) because the BBC put every episode of the last series of The Apprentice up on their webiste after it aired for legal download.
 
Yeah Simon Amstell is far better than Mark Lamarr, i was quite worried he'd ruin it but he's now made it must see TV for me at least!
 
I had a beer with Simon years ago during a battle of the bands final in London. Genuinely nice bloke, talked to him about Nickelodeon and popworld.

I think Simon has brung new lease of life to The Buzzcock's and I wish him the very best.

With Have I Got News for you slowly dying on it's feet I think Buzzcocks has finnaly found it's footing. Shows like Mock the Week make BBC2 seem much more appeling.
 
Still reckon mark lamaar <sp> was better :(

Simon amstell is good but the program doesnt seem right without mark there :mad:
 
i think both presenters are great. I also think all this poking fun at other presenters etc is quite light hearted, fake an dmakes for entertaining tv. they love each other secretly...now poking fun at blonde bimbos is something else :D
 
apparently the bbc made a statement saying that mark lamaar is just taking a break and will return to the position of presenter in later series. either way im not fussed. the two have differing styles but both men along with bill bailey (legend) and phil jupitus make it bbc's funniest show by a long long way! :)
 
Nothing could ever be as good as Lamar on that show, It's the only program that has ever had me litrally crying with laughter, some of the things he said were just plain wrong.
 
I like Simon Amstell a lot on this. His style and delivery are different to Mark Lamaar, but just as lethal. :D

Maybe he doesn't quite gel with Bailey and Jupitus at the moment, but give them time, hopefully it'll work out. And while Lamaar was fantastic, he did seem to going off the rails during his last series or two.
 
This weeks episode had me in tears, it was SO funny, When simon amstell was messing with the ugly guys hair my sides were aching. it was just hillarious.

Great show, and I dont miss lamarr from it a great deal, because amstell is doing a great job. really really funny !
 
Not too keen on Simon, i liked Mark better!

I just found that if Simon got a laugh he would milk the joke he got a luagh from over and over and over Got a bit repetitive and boring.

Still Bill Bailey and Jupitus were hilarious!
