Never Mind the Murlocs - Warlords of Draenor

Silvermoon has gone back down to full, instead of locked for now.
Not even low pop servers Spenj, early mop I had a friend come to silvermoon, as on Thunderhorn, Galleon would have been alive for hours on end, even when he was current content. It being a medium pop realm.

Showing locked here again but has allowed me to queue to join. I will log in and create a character

Right I am in and have created a Rogue :)

Had enough of us tonight for a guild run. Cleared normal mode Mogu'shan Vaults and Terrace of the Endless Spring. As well as 8 manning the Sha of Anger in kun-lai summit.

Fun night.

There is another ocuker leveling a mage, but anything is welcome, shadowpriest currently isn't being mained.
I know I said in the original post no more pallies, but we could now use a holy paladin.

I got @90

Hunter
Druid (feral - will be boomkin in WoD)
Rogue
Mage
Paladan (holy)
Shamman (resto)

I've healed since TBC, And tanked until Cata. These are all on silvermoon, if you have space could you throw me a realid invite so I can get my chars in the guild. Sundee#2360

I've just started downloading the game again. I played from release up until about 2008 but haven't been on since. I wonder how much it's changed. :)

What's the Monk class like? I used to play a Warrior and a Hunter in the old days.

As far as I know, in early WoD, Monk tanks have to work harder than the others, with its healing spec not being much better.

Monk is kind of like a Paladin. Tank, melee dps or healer. But its a very unique playstyle.
As for how much the game has changed, there is going to be a lot you don't recognize, or even like right away. But the game had to change, or it would have grown stagnant.

Not played Monk but Hunter isn't looking too good in WoD. Every other class seems to have decent changes, Hunters are looking a bit boring :(

My lock is now 90 so I'm ready to level through wod.

I haven't come up against any queues since mid week but realistically I'm not expecting to be able to log on in the evenings until at least the weekend.

Looking forward to it though!

I know one of ours who just hit 90 on their rogue, did quite a few bg's while leveling. I'm sure others would be up for it. I don't mind doing the odd bg, but they aren't my cup of tea.
Have updated the class list in the first post.

so, there are literally no horde on silvermoon..?

:D

wats the server like? everyone speak english?
i am tempted to re-sub and use boost on an alliance char on this server, so i can join the OcUK guild.

Majority speak english, with the odd czech guild, and yeah pretty much no horde at all. Never get why blizzard never offer free faction swaps to balance things out.

Interested in returning for WoD; what're the plans for this guild? I wanna do PvP mainly and possibly other stuff. No idea what class to play yet, have a 90 druid, lock, mage and shaman

It is primarily a pve guild, aiming to raid flex normal then heroic. No plans for mythic at the moment.
As for pvp, nothing in place at the moment, if other members are interested they are more than welcome to do so.

Whats the population and PvP situation like on Silvermoon? I know it used to be good for PvP in Cata but idk how its changed since

Mostly Alliance, has been since start of TBC were us Horde migrated off server to others like Nordrassil.

Mostly English guilds on the server still, but even IS died in MoP according to some of the members I was chatting to on Monday night.

I'm glade to be back on the server even if its Alliance side!

The release as you can imagine from the main thread has been pretty painful for anyone on a high pop realm.

I have updated the original post with how classes look for the moment. Recruitment will be slowing down, until things have settled down.
