Odd, text is perfectly readable to me at 1280x1024 on a 19" CRT, maybe your eyesight is getting poor
Wow, that didn't take long!! I knew someone would comment on my eyesight, but I didn't think it would be the very first reply...

Is it possible to initiate conversation with your party members? Couldn't seem to do it last night

Command->Talk To (or some such) on the Context menu.

And get that menu up by holding right click over the one you want to talk to. It's recommended to change the context menu delay in the options or you'll be holding that button for about a week (well 4 seconds or so anyway) :)

I'll say, it was a perfectly reasonable query, I'm blind without my glasses, but at a smaller res still find the text perfectly legible.

Cloth map

For those who ordered the Limited Editions, I've just seen this post on the Atari forums :D :

People,

We had some manufacturing issues with the Limited Edition boxsets of NWN2 which resulted in a paper map being included in the box.

We now have the Cloth maps in stock. In order to receive a map, please email [email protected] with your address details, specifying a prefered method of contact (email, telephone number etc). Proof of purchase will be required before we send the maps out.

Regards,

UK Customer Services Team.

What proof of purchase will they require if we ordered online? By box set I take it they mean the alignment options not just the LE edition?

Ah, thanks for that, that was my next question :)

It wasn't 'perfectly reasonable', because it assumes that I'm stupid enough not to have considered my eyesight being an issue myself. The implication that I'm stupid annoys me.

My eyesight is far from perfect, but I have glasses (and annual eye tests) and I can see, read and drive perfectly well. Like I said in my initial post, I can still read the text at higher resolutions, it just takes longer. I can even read the text at 1600x1200, but I don't want to because it ruins my enjoyment to have to concentrate on the text to the extent that I miss what else is happening on screen.

I finally managed to kill Moira. All I did was give each member of my group about 10 Cure Moderate Wounds potions (overkill I know) and spam them when health got a bit low. Very nice Rapier and mask drop for Neeshka though to make it worthwhile. :)

Careful with plot points and spoilers. There's a thread for that stuff. :)

And the assumption that I'm implying that you are stupid now annoys me.

Congrats.

Anyways, back on topic.

Could anyone verify how important a role Neeshka would play later in the game?

How crucial is a rogue in the party if I already have knock to cover locked goodies?
