Aside from that the avatars seem fine as they are. They are neat, clean and uniform - if you don't like them then you're free to turn them off and it's worth remembering that your signature is the area you've got to personalise if you feel the need although I'd suggest that the content of your posts ought to be enough to display some of your personality.
