New Bike - Can't decide.

I know you don't want fairings but have you looked at the vfr1200. A lot of bike for the money, looks are subjective but that aside amazing engine by all accounts, touring is great albeit not a huge tank and whilst not a scalpel is fun and handles.

You won't get a good one for 6k.

It will either be really old or have space shuttle mileage. They also cost a bomb to service, are absolutely terrible on fuel and are not that comfortable either.

I know, I have one, it's an awesome bike so long as you don't ride it.

On the plus side for what it is, it is hugely fast, it ways over quarter of a ton without luggage or passengers, but will hit 0-60 in 2.7 seconds and pull from 40 to 157 in 5th.
