The interior ones are from someone who is breaking their S to sell. Someone else asked on the forum so when the seller I got them form replies I will let you know.

Info on the plate/sidelight ones further up in this post.

Liking what you've done so far. Curious really as I'm headed to Jersey with some mates soon for a day trip on Condor Ferries what is the max speed limit? Mates think its 60 and I think its a lot less than that for some reason.

Our Island equivalent of your NSL is 40mph.
The majority of roads are 30mph, with some 20mph and all "Green Lanes" are 15.

There are no speed cameras here although I would advise you to be very weary of your speed, on an island of 9 miles by 5 this is not the largest of places and there are at least 3 undercover vehicles I know of + many more that do not carry full equipment. All Traffic cars can do you for speeding of which there are a couple too.

As well as the real Police we have Honorarys, or more affectionately known as "Hobby Bobbys". They work for the parish and can do you for speeding, they carry Unipar Laser devices.

Do not know if you have been before but do bring GPS with Jersey maps if you have it. Our road network is pretty complex and some 1-way systems will have you tearing your hair out.

Also take note that many of our green lanes and a lot of main roads at some point are 2-way with only enough room for 1 and a half vehicle. If you take country roads be prepared to reverse up to passing points :D

I nabbed it for £205.

Considered the better DEH-8100BT but for almost a 50% price hike the additional things it offered I did not need, basically the same as the 7100 but more.

Can you really get any enjoyment out of a sports car on such a small island with such a draconian speed limit?

Unless you just ponce around like Bergerac and make it look like you're going faster than you really are :p

I can't imagine it's exactly hard for the authorities to enforce the limits on any road worth driving on.

It'd be interesting to hear your perspective on it.

With an S2000 you could probably get up enough speed to jump to the mainland :D:p

The LED lights look really good btw :)

Yes, you can get enjoyment out of it. It can be frustrating at times but to be perfectly honest with you this car is capable of breaking your NSL limit in 2nd and motorway speeds are gone very shortly after VTEC in 3rd. The fun comes with the winding roads that you cannot safely break the limit on anyway. Not a huge amount of fun to be had with straight line speed alone.

It's not hard to enforce the limits but we have a huge road network, really - pull up a road map of Jersey and you will see what I mean. The "major" roads are often policed but there are plenty of other places that are not.

Time, place and appropriate speed is all I will say on the matter ;)

Here is a map I stitched together myself if you are curious about our roads - Rar File

My 106 can pass 60mph in 2nd, and doesn't need VTEC to pass 70 in 3rd :p

Therefore, my car is better than yours ;):D

Harness/Controller arrived yesterday so spent 90 minutes soldering then against my better judgement did the install in the dark with some lights/torches :D

Hands scraped/scuffed/cut/mangled to buggery but.. it's in and it works.

For some reason Voice Control is not working but I need to check the mic is working. If the plug has fallen out of the Head Unit I will be urinated off as it means taking all the center console/dash parts off again :(

To be fair it was more straight forward than I had conjured in my mind but it COULD be quicker and easier :p
