New build advice - Flight Simulator ready PC

Hopefully last question (last famous words), I read on the cooler forum on here that the Arctic Liquid Freezer ll RGB 240 might need to have the cover removed or swapped to fit the Asus Prime Z690. However on the Arctic website it only mentions it interferes with the Asus Aorus. Can anyone shed any light on isses with the Prime board ?

From what I saw elsewhere it showed that the fan cover needs to be removed (its does not affect performance) for it to fit a variety of Asus motherboards, it listed various Asus cards (Prime / ROG).

Will post on the cooling thread, just thought someone here might of experienced this.
 
Ah - they are only listing the non WiFi version. I guess that has maybe a different construction. Will carry on as planned then.

A final question - I did look at the option of O/C building this for me (I have decided I will give it a go) and they advised that the memory of chosen (32GB Patriot Viper steel 3600) could be unreliable and I should consider Corsair or Crucial. Do you think I should change memory ?

Noted and thanks. If I didn't go for RGB - looking on the O/C site is there any issue with going with either of the following ?, the only difference I can see relates to Ryzen tuned (which has no relevance as I am getting an Intel CPU):

I found the £125 white ones (thanks) - they list as being compatible with 300/400/500 series. As I am going for the 600 series (LGA1700) is this ok ?
