new build crash ?

Hi all i just built my fist ever pc and i have a asrock z68 extreme 4 gen 3 mobo with i5 2500k cpu and a radeon 6950 gpu with 4 gb ram i installed windows then installed the drivers from the disks (motherboard and graphics card), not over clocked at all yet but i installed a game and whilst i was playing the screen turned blue for a second then system reebooted ? any ideas as to what this could be ? i have played the game for 1 and a half hours today and its been fine (longer than i was on it yesterday) could this just be a slight glitch or maybe corupt windows ? not sure at all b(or could it maybe cpu overheat or something simple)

also one more question is it really as easy to overclock as it says in this forum http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18311089

any help would be great

ok thank first of all how do i change settings so it doesnt reboot and also how do i check events log ?

i am connected to the net on the pc but my avg isnt updating so what is the best all round anti virus to get ? i love the way avg has firewall and anti virus and the rest so only need that one program any reconmendations ?

does that have everything like firewall anti virus and spyware etc ? u have free version or proper version ?

off to work now but will go on pc tonight and if anyone could tell me how to make system so blue screen stays on and doesnt reeboot would be great also how to check events log and is avast good as avg and does it have evything like avg does including firewall and anti virus and anti spyware etc ?

thanks people will go and do that now and try and get it to happen agin, no not using avg and windows firwall together will do that now anyway thanks ppl

thanks for that mp260767 just done that been on computer a lot latey and been fine but if happens agin will write down all information from blue screen, got my AVG working so that should be enought as has firewall and anti virus etc, thanks for help guys appreciate it, going to look into overclocking my rig now so hope its very easy lol
is it really this easy and if so should you only overclock to 4.0ghz then do some test ?not really got a clue going to research it
