yups, bit of a bummer that youre sending something back before getting started

Btw, I only plugged 1 4 pin connector into the mobo near the CPU, because thats all that my power supply has...i left the plastic cover over the other 4 pins...and it powers up fine...does it HAVE to have the 8pins? or can it run fine off 4??

I've contacted Overclockers to arrange RMA.....hopefully it won't take too long although they've said there going to email me and I've just realised they've got my email address wrong

Guess I'll have to wait until Monday now unless anyone on here can advise what the process is for RMAing a MB?

It should be able to run fine off of 4, the extra 4 are there for stability I guess if you have your CPU at lolGhz.

Ahhh lol, fair enough, i'll leave it as it is then as I haven't overclocked the CPU (it was for my gf )

Use of a power supply providing a 2x4 12V power connector is recommended by the
CPU manufacturer when using an Intel Extreme Edition CPU (130W).
