a digital to analogue converter (dac) , external device that boosts audio to headsets, normally used as onboard doesn’t have the power to drive high end headsets/speakers
can you uninstall nahimic?, does it show up in control panel, look for nahimic and nahimic companion, remove both
while in control panel navigate to programs and features and see if anything to do with nahimic is in the list if so remove it
audio's screwed up somewhere, if its a new install just wipe and start again, BUT when you go to install the audio, download the file but dont install from there, go to device manager and under audio install realtek only, that should leave out the nahimic part hopefully
Yeah clean install time at this stage!
you using 3.5mm jack into the motherboard?, have you plugged into the correct port, older boards you would need to use the port coloured green for speakers/headset, double check the manual to see which port you need to use
before we go any further can you confirm the exact motherboard and revision (if any ie: 1.0, 1.1, 1.2)
GIGABYTE AORUS X870E REV 1.0 ah, thats different from what you said in your original post have you been to the support page for this motherboard and downloaded the dri
can you check your headset works on something else, just to rule it out being bad, really odd even after a reinstall audio still isnt working, was the motherboard new or second hand?
