Hello Guys/Gals I am having an issue with my new build. I can play for a few hours but sometimes it randomly shutdown as if the plug has been pulled but the motherboard light stays on. My specs are
Core i7 920 D0@stock settings
Mobo: Asus P6x58D-e
GPU: Gainward GTX 480@stock
PSU: Corsair HX1000
OCZ Gold RAM OCZ3G1600LV6GK timings 8-8-8-24 1600mhz
1TB Samsung Spinpoint harddrive
Samsung DVD drive
Case: Coolermaster HAF932
Zalman CNPS10X Extreme cooler
Windows 7 Home premium.
All the memory and cpu voltages are correct. This is my second build in 2 years so I have some experience. My temps on the CPU are between 41C idle and 67C Full Load. Mobo never goes over 37C. I have checked all the connections and everything is in place correctly. the only thing I found odd is that the 12v rail reports 11.911v in the bios and 11.12v in speedfan. The mobo is on the gold rivets and their is no grounding issues. Looking for some people to shed some light on what it might be.
