New Build Works?

urghhhh this is stressful xD im not set on anything really but to be future proof surely the 1080 is the better idea? considering il be looking to eventually go to 4k and all that other lovely jubbly stuff. i duno... like i said im not bothered about cheaper.... i just want the best for my buck with each part... its still beneficial to build myself right?

and theres a reason for picking each individual part for u yeah? as in u know all parts are good cause as u said the whole point of self builds is that u get all the parts u want and i can fully understand how easy it might be just to randomly select some parts hehe, also out of all the builds on this thread is that the one you would pick? and would u go for that GPU or the white one you linked after?

well not to bothered about price, would u not get water cooling with the first x99 build? and these builds way better then the no x99 builds? also why would u pick extra cabling? dont PSU's come with cables? or those ones better? also u could lower the price of second by getting a mixture of parts from both builds no? like the non water cooled GPU etc?

also theres a comment on that ram that says....

Great fast ram, can't fault it!
Make sure you check the motherboard compatibility list.
Gigabyte x99-sli does not support this rams xmp @ 3000Mhz but will run 2666Mhz (correct 9/11/15)

that affect us?

sweet, love it... love the white look xD shame no white PSU's? will need the cables extra or just cause will look better? which im down for.... should i not get water cooling kit tho? as will need to overclock really wont i? or will it be fine stock for now?

ur a start ty so much, oh and once put together how to check everything is running as it should? cpuz, gpuz, and software that comes with or?

ahhh ok, naw i meant wouldnt i need a dvd drive and is there a white one? but if you dont think its required then all good xD

Razer Mamba Chroma Tournament Edition
SteelSeries Siberia 800 Wireless Headset

all seem good? :D

Ok so got my parts and this enthoo pro case has a Pwm hub on the back.... It says to plug into cpu fan but then where do I plug the cpu fan into?

Am guessing I plug 4 pin connector from pwm hub into CPU fan slot, then plug cpu cooler 4 pin connector into the 3 pin slot on pwm hub but in slot 1 so they all run based off cpu temps?

so does a 3DMark11 score of around 21.5k sound alright? with CinbeBench R15 scores of around 1100 for CPU and 145 fps on the OpenGL scan.

however i do get a little whine from GPU when loading up some games etc, it chills out once playing tho... does not seem to affect performance afaik and am happy to put up with it if u think is advisable? i see others with similar issues and the general consensus seems to be RMA or deal with it
