New build

Well yeah, that way it will hopefully start up, all pressing the power button does is short those two pins momentarily.

Always confused with the f panel set up can you tell me where they go correctly I have powersw ( two pin ) power led + ( one pin) power led - (one pin) reset (two pin) and hdd led ( two pin )

Did you briefly short it? and not continuously?

Have you cleared the CMOS?

Use the absolute basics to power up (one stick of RAM, no drives attached, one GFX card attached)

It actually doesnt matter which way the pins are around on the reset+ power switch buttons pins.

If theres no power or HDD flashing light then you have ± the wrong way around.

Ive done everything above got the switches in the right place, turned it on , the fans start , and the led on the motherboard comes on then it clicks and goes off , and then repeats itself , cannot hear nothing from the gpu tho

Ok , striped the pc all I've have connected is CPU , hydro h100 cooler, 1 gpu , as I turn it on the fans start three light on the motherboard come on which are a red one next to dd4, and amber one on dd3 and green on dd2 and dd1 they flash on , then goes off and and the is stuck in a cycle till I power it off at the psu....any more ideas, I tried racking my brains , the only thing I am going to do now is change the cooler for the stock cooler that came with the CPU

You will need a stick of RAM also.

Remove the GFX card and connect the monitor to the motherboard directly.

When you fitted the board, you did only put stand-offs only where there is a hole on the board PCB?

You connected the H100 to the CPUFAN header?
