New car :D

One of the few small hatchbacks that doesn't look completely girly, tbh. Nice in silver too. Though that mileage is awfully low for a 5 year old car, especially considering it was a company lease. Did she live on the business park or something?

 I'd say it looked more girlie than most! Still, its not a bad looking little car.

How much? I'm not coming in to say you could have got X, Y or Z car for the same money, just curious.

Paid 5k, about the same money as a low spec corsa/fiesta of this mileage. The fiesta ST was my only other choice but one of this spec would have been £7500+ and double the insurance.

A 5.5 year old lease car with one owner from new?

I didnt think any of the big leasing companies kept cars for that amount of time

I read some time ago that the average lease period over the past few years has slowly been creeping towards keeping the car for a longer period, I think the average is currently sitting at 40 or so months. Main reason was the poor resale value 2 years ago but that's sort of picked up over the last year.

Had the C2 GT. Thought it was horrible. Plastic coffin. Had plenty poke about it. Then I put it in a field LOL

Well im 6'3 and need the seat all the way back, which means the front seat almost touches the rear.

I was the same, almost looked like I was sitting in the back from the outside :p

Good little car for what it is, a cheap runaround that's quite cool and got a little bit of poke to it. Steering is lifeless and clutch has no feel to it but it did the job. I always liked the look of them compared to other similar cars.

Since when do 5.5 year old Fiestas/Corsas cost £5k

Looks a nice little car though. Pretty cool looking.

one thing i didnt like the most was the back windows don't open. I sometimes like to have them pen so you get cool air coming in without that annoying roaring wind noise.

We are looking at some cheap small fun for my GF to use and had hoped to get a Grande Punto Sporting... however after seeing her company car park for the first time yesterday I think something smaller might be good

That C2 looks very smart and would probably do the job well considering my choice (Panda 100hp) "looks like a van" :p

Treated the C2 to a clean today as its done 1,200 miles in the first 10 days i've owned it. Products used were:
autoglym bodywork shampoo conditioner
autoglym super resin polish
meguiars deep crystal paint cleaner
meguiars techart wax
meguiars endurance high gloss
meguiars glass cleaner

Hopefully it should remain fairly clean for the next 1200 :p

Good to see the car getting driven a bit more, the previous owner barely got it warmed up it seemed!
