Also, the better spec 1 and 3 series still have dual zone climate control and have done since they were launched (digital too, better than the dials in the E60 IMO!). Very very odd!

I'm not 100% certain about the E60, as it's been ages since I was in one, but the E65 7 series has similar dials on the dash, they look analogue but they are in fact digital, the temperature readout for each side of the car is on the display screen above, just in the top right and left corners respectively.

The E60 doesn't do that sadly. I guess the analog dials are okay but I prefer number readouts
