Phil's just looks wrong imo :p

Good buy dadofsam :) And I believe GT3 never ragged it *ahem*, I'd be suprised if the engines ever been past 4k rpm! ;) :o

nah, am sure he wouldnt dream of it, as how else would he know there was a problem shifting from the redline in 2nd to 3rd ;) :D

Nathan - around £1800 as i said before in my first year with mods declared, will prob loose it on 2nd year of driving as i would ahve a years no claim and can move onto bigger, better things (if there are better than a vtr), and if i stick with its around £700 for 2nd year so only just paying the cost of the car then after 2 years of use, which to be honest, doesnt bother me too much, i ahve no other major bills etc. to pay, a job with pay, and you only live once and all that so am going to try my best to gte it right first time round :D

To be fair though all things that wear out from hard driving such as suspension bushes, dampers, brakes, clutch, gearbox etc have been replaced. The driveshafts have no play in them as that was checked when they were off. The engine has had fresh oil + filter every 6k miles when I had it. So yes I drove it hard, but it has been maintained accordingly and never thrashed from cold.

Only poking fun mate, cars like the VTR SHOULD be driven hard, and you obviously did look after it :)

Yeah I know, I wouldn't care normally but just reassuring Sam ;)

Great cars, thats why I'm getting another one next week until I can afford the Clio Sport I want. Just mine got to 70k miles and with me doing 25k a year I want to go for a lower mileage one.

why, what was wrong with that one, g'won we wont tell :p

on a lowering note, how do you know how much your car can go down by and where do you go to get such things done

Nothing, I just do a lot of miles and want one that I can sell on easily next year. That one would have probably been on 100k, and I know a lot of people who would be scared off by a small french hatchback with that kinda mileage.

Post count whoring tbh,

slamming it has issues, i have spped bumps at every entry to my village, therefore lowered = i cant get home, and even if i did i got a steep drive with nasty lip to negotiate over so if anything it will be 30mm at fornt max

Yer I dragged my nose accross my mates drive the other week and mines not even lowered!

Thankfully the £16 REPLACEABLE lower trim took the punishment :D

And its not replaceable on the saxo. And as Sam will tell you its quite scraped already due to me touching down on a country lane and that was at standard ride height.
