New Car...

I like the Volvo my girlfriends dad had a V70R as a loan car and it went very well indeed and was suprisingly chuckable around the corners. As with all other Volvos I have been in the seats are superb supportive and very comfortable.

Had the car a few weeks now, will give a full update in a while on what I think..

Overall:

Sounds good
Very comfy
Colour is growing on me
Has the power to make me drive slow for some reason
Serious quick at higher speeds, which is different to the vr4's im used to...

Also still got a vr4 by the way.. but that'll come out at a later date when its done

Its feels 'right' for me if you know what I mean

Everything else i looked at was a comprimise, and I just thought that I would have to make do with something that didnt meet my expectations. I always compare cars to my previous best, and that was the first vr4 i had.

This feels like the natural progression from the vr4.. its very similar, just a little better in most ways. Only loses out a little on driver feedback.

Update...

Car has gone back to the dealer :(

To cut a long story short, the car was sold with FSH and it was missing a stamp. This invalidated the warranty and I asked for my money back

Gutted, the car was great... but the dealer was a gimp

Ive had the worst run of luck with cars lately.. never have I had such a run of events

Dont buy from dealers at this level, they are all just after a fast buck as you have found out to your disappointment. Its the same story time and time and time again.

Private, 1 or 2 owner cars, from decent households.
