Good times! Put a deposit down on my 2nd car today, after my first one got wrote off, and it's a Peugeot 306 1.4i :D

64k miles, full years tax and is currently in the garage being serviced and MOT'd all for the sweet deal of £1195.

Here she is at the garage:

And here is what I plan to make her look like:

Not chav-tastic, nice, simple and clean.

Happy days :)

Did you pay the asking price

Not keen on the idea of lowing it that much, but they seem like good small first/second cars none the less.

I know it's a Punto but I sold my 2000 (W) with 69k on the clock, FSH for £1250 over a year ago. Doesn't sound like brilliant value for money (although equally it's not a 4 year old financed Clio for £9k).

It looks really good that low in real life. Shame that its a 1.4 though but at least you like it and that what matters. Best thing to do is get yourself on the pug306 club cause loads of people will be able to help you with your mods and other stuff.

so you plan to spray the bumpers, door handles, and buy some pug alloys and spray them... then slam it to the floor... on a 1.4 petrol 306..?! Err, yeah ok

and yeah, my van is lowered with alloys lol but that doesnt mean you should do it on this!

My mate lowered the one which you want yours to look like. Its a bit low for me and Im not a fan of the rear lights but it is tidy ill give him that

I never got on with the 1.4. The 2.0XSi and GTIs were pretty good though. Remarkably the turbo diesels weren't that horrid either.

Still, enjoy your new purchase, but please don't modify it as you plan to :(

I would go as far to say the 306 has more call for lowering/alloys than almost any van :p

Still, I have driven about a lowered, alloyed yellow van, and it was AWESOME!

*edit* wait, you paid sticker price!?
