New case! :O

Just noticed OPs CPU, 1055t at 4.5GHz  That's good going! Mine did 4GHz happily, 4.2 at a push

It's a golden chip <3 I was going to sell it, then though, NOP - my way of overclocking is - Aim at a stupid clock and work down, I aimed at 4.5 from the off just for lols expecting it crash, but it actually booted, not only did it boot, but stayed stable XD partly down to my nice board I think

Also Schizo, does that leave plenty of open air space within the case? I don't like crowded cases, more places for dust to gather and it's a pain if I want to get to the board quicker, changing PWM fans etc :O

I'd have a look at the Fractal midi, I've just received a Define Xl from a comp prize and have stopped my Trooper build that I have spent the best part of 2 months modding to use the Fractal. The build quality is awesome, the shear weight of the doors alone is crazy.

It says it's not currently available :O - also it doesn't seem to have said window :D

500R seems a bit small for all my hardware :( could do with a full ATX tower :)

Then get the bigger brother, the Define XL R2 :D

Heres a pic of the inside :)

nice looking case, well built and has excellent cable management, (34mm behind mobo tray).

air intake in stock form isnt the greatest, but it can be helped with the addition of better fans. using one with the spec in sig and temps on components are surprisingly good. despite the fact im using two heat dumper gpu's.

Still needs a quick tidy up and a few new blue case fans, im using a few braided bitfenix extensions for one of the gpu's, but ill be switching to the corsair modular ones used on the other card. Should help with the look a bit more.

Man, jony enough room to swing a cat around in there. Take it you got the case to be upgrade proof then. Do love how you can move the drive bays back a few inches in the fractal cases to fit a rad without getting the drill out.

Was originally looking for a case to upgrade from my Bitfenix Merc Alpha, originally wanted a 650D/RV02E but the case and PSU came up on HUKD's FS/FT forums and I bit the sellers hand's off at the price he wanted them for :D
It should be future proof enough WC wise if I ever venture in to that territory :)
Also, you can move the hard drive cage all the way back to where a bottom intake fan would normally be placed allowing something like the nexxxos monsta rad at the front.

OP, if you end up with the XL R2 and are worried about the side panel window, Fractal are releasing the new Arc XL with a windowed side panel which fits to the XL R2 as confirmed by a them via email :)
Arc XL is basically an Arc Midi R2 except its full tower, no other changes I believe.
