Is there a new cold war going on between Russia and US ? All things surely seem to shift in that direction. I don't want to sound biased, which i probably will...but I think Putin wants to bring the old glorious days of mother Russia back again. That's why he is trying to cause havoc and annoyance around the world, by causing troubles in several countries. For example supporting Assad in Syria just to poke US in the eye and prove to the world they suck as a "world police". By causing havoc in Ukraine, so they regret and all others observe what happens if u break ties with Russia and act friendly with the enemy....

Maybe it all sounds a bit far fetched and a bit paranoid, butI really think we have a new cold war. With innocent Russians, Syrians, Ukrainians and many more caught between a nasty chessboard of Putin and the White house. I hope this one wont end up in WW3 :/

That was mw3 dude. What kind of noob are you? KDR? :D

You wanna go some mate? Yeh? I'll wipe the floor with you m8 when I get my g18 akimbo and n00b t00b out broh

Allen is sent on an undercover mission in Russia for the CIA, joining Makarov in a massacre of civilians at an airport in Moscow. However, Makarov, who has been aware of Allen's true identity, kills him during extraction, leaving his body behind to spark a war between the Russian Federation and the United States. Outraged by what was believed to be an American-sponsored terrorist attack, Russia retaliates by launching a surprise invasion on the East Coast of the United States after bypassing its early warning system.

Flip it, why do the pesky Europeans keep supporting people the Russians aren't fond off? I wouldn't say we're bubbling up to cold war levels quite yet, this is just the usual political posturing. As for the involvement in foreign politics and the warmongering, nothing has really changed, the bigger and richer nations have always played chess with the fates of their smaller cousins, tis the status quo. Much better to thrash out your problems in somebody elses backyard.

I'd suggest the current round of anti-Russian sentiment within the west has less to do with Russia and more to do with Putin. Cooperation between Russia and the West has been strained and difficult of late, US and EU seem to have identified Putin as the barrier and therefore are making his life difficult. Sanctions on trade etc should increase the pressure he feels internally from his rich backers, if it gets to the point where the rich and powerful want him out then he has a real fight on his hand.

No one's going to pull the trigger first and start a war between NATO and Russia/China, everyone loses if that happens, and the people in charge aren't that stupid

I think it will be ok soap will ninja throw a knife in the rebels eye

And then price will chuck Putin out of a heli and string him up
