New computer build.

Got the refund on them, then decided to go with only one and got the W2363D. I am thinking I might then get an IPS as the second monitor a but further down the line! :)

It was really me worrying about the new U2312HM and the fact it was the first revision. Also playing games on an IPS still worried me. But yer I might get an IPS at some point as the second! Thanks for all of the help :)

Think I might start a new thread about this front panel audio problem I am having.

Here are my ATTO benches for my drives. I don't if they are good, what do you guys think?

C Drive (OCZ 60GB Vertex 2E SSD 2.5" SATA-II):

E Drive (Western Digital 1TB Caviar Black 3.5" SATA6GB/S 7200rpm 64MB):

I believe so yes, everything I have connected is in ports 1-6. The ports are like this:

- Supports two SATAIII ports (SATA1~2) by P67 PCH
- Supports two SATAIII ports (SATA7~8) by Marvell SE9128
- SATA1~6 ports support RAID 0/1/5/10 mode by Intel P67 PCH
- SATA7~8 ports support RAID 0/1 mode by Marvell SE9128

The only thing I didn't install and somebody said about previously was the Intel Rapid Technology or something? I don't know if this matters or would make a difference and I don't know if it has installed itself?

Thanks stulid :)

Haha and thats ok then. My main worry was whether or not they were running at the correct speeds, because the SSD is SATA II and the WD drive is SATA III.

I take it they are running at the speeds they should be then? You worried me when you asked about the ports :P

Thanks again :)

EDIT: Just seen your second post.

So, now I think everything is sorted and I have a monitor. I am ready to try and deal with this:

I am even tempted to get a modular PSU, what do you guys think?

It's just they really don't give a whole load of space to lay these cables!

If you look on the back of the motherboard tray you will see little bits of pressed out metal making a little hoop, this is where you thread cable ties through to secure the spare cables.

Thanks for the response, is there a best order of doing things? Cables wise?

It's just to me there looks to be too many cables to put down in the space provided!

Thanks again :)

To be honest you just need to do your best.

Try and bunch up the case front panel cables together and use a few cable ties to keep them near the HDD cages at the rear.

Then take a psu cable and just tie it across the back, doesnt have to be neat as you wont see it.

Hey guys,

Thought I would do a quick update. Finally got round to doing my cable management. Took quite a while and was a real pain at times! Here are some pictures of before and after!

Tell me what you all think, will it be good enough for airflow? Can you see any problems?

Thanks :)
