After many hassles, signed all the papers this morning and... due to a admin error.... picked it up tonight.

Excellent car, it does what I look for most in the car, "fun". At the same time I can commute without wanting to rip my hair out....

Anyway, shall write more tomorrow and take some more pics (was dark tonight).

S'if I can be bothered to look for bread*. Been around for long enough to be trusted methinks ;) (that is, if you venture on IRC).

*(might find some jaffa cakes instead)

Shame the back end looks so terrible.

And that it's slower & heavier than the outgoing model.

And it doesn't even have the basic equipment you take as read with cars in its class (LSD, HIDs, etc).

Other than that - well done! :P

Woah, you forgot the air-conditioned glove box.. I mean, only true Type R's have these fitted!

I went to have a look at a one at the local dealerships the other day, it was in silver, and I was really dissapointed with it since for some reason the body kit looked very stuck on in that colour.

Looks fine in the Red or Black though.

Can't wait to take one out, I miss VTEC Yo after selling my vti after the summer of fun.

Having read the top gear review of it this month in the shootout with the other hot hatches the thing that impressed me the most was the fuel economy.

Random.

I think time will tell if it is slower. Current EP3 owners have already stated that the FN2 is more planted and steady cornering. This is obviously an advantage.

I would have liked HIDs but "whatyou gonna do"? There'll be HIDs on the facelift undoubtedly.

The back end doesn't look that bad in black but that's subjective.

At the end of the day it's a fun car which *I* need to live with. And by *live* with I mean be reliable, get me to work (50 miles a day) and be fun at the weekend.

An EK9 commuting would kill me within a month. I'd feel drained. This is a nice balance.

Regarding photos, been called in to work today, should have been off, shall post some dodgy mobile piccies at luncheon.

Very nice! I really like the new Civic range, it's a daring design but I think Honda pulled it off really successfully.
The current Accord is still one of my favourite saloons too, as far as looks go.

That is amazing but I hate the back of the car and the wheels look a little small when compared to the rest of it!

I agree to an extent but they're 18s. Upgrading to 19s (for £950!) just seemed overkill :)
