Hey all

Just found this in a popular mens mag...

US Hennessey Performance have produced the Viper SRT Coupe:

-8.3l Engine producing 1,000bhp
-Max speed of 255mph (Veyron is at 253)
-0-60 in 2.9s
-Only costs £130,000

No doubt it would handle quite badly...

So doesnt this make it the fastest road car then? Seeing as the Bugatti Veyron is now slower than this :p

Yer the veyron is limited... And you can buy 7 of these vipers for the price you buy 1 veyron.. so i know which is more value for money :p

Damn right I would. For a start the Viper is a fraction of the price, and secondly its not ugly.

Ditto. The Veyron is a hideous looking thing - I saw one in the flesh a few weeks ago and didn't like it at all.
 
Yea, we where talking about this a while back. Just goes to show the marvel that is the 1000bhp miracle car aint all that.
 
money no object - buy the veyron for kicks.

however, that sort of power for $92k is bonkers.
mental car, not ugly, craaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazy power!
 
Its not a production car though so Veyron would still hold the record (have they set the record yet?)

the veyron isnt a production car... no car company would produce a car that costs £5million to make and sell it on for around £850,000 continuously.. they only made the car to show it could be done.

the veyron costs £5,000,000 to make and you pay £850,000.. i think thats better value :p

You're not seeing that value though are you... You dont pay the 5mil do you? You're paying £850k to own one car.. or you could have 7 cars that are more powerful for the same price?

Thats better value...
