New Dodge Viper

the veyron isnt a production car... no car company would produce a car that costs £5million to make and sell it on for around £850,000 continuously.. they only made the car to show it could be done.

It is on sale, all be it in limited numbers, from the factory, making it a production car.

This is an aftermarket modified car, not a production car from Viper.

how is the Veyron in production if only 300 or so are being made? a production car is a car being produced constantly to keep up with demand eg a Golf or a Punto.. not a £850K Supercar.

Its being produced isn't it?

I don't know the exact definition of production, but it holds the record for fastest production car, so I'm guessing its a production car.

i cba to argue about this.. :o back to the op..

Looks pretty nice. something about it.. ive never been a fan of older SRT-10s but that looks pretty darn nice

Well, the price is nice of the Viper, and I do like the style. But the Veyron is just so cutting edge.. Can I not have them both?? I've been a good boy..!! LOL

You are right. The veyron has officially been categorised as the fastest road going production car. Now just to find le source.

So, with the rates going, how much is that Viper in £?

I'm not sure, in this mag that i've got here it says its £130,000

But that site says its $90,000 which would be about £51,000

Not sure... the £130,000 seems more reasonable.. but it is a Viper so you never know :)

as i said the stats are for the car in the 2nd link i posted which has a price tag of $225,000 which is probably around the £130,000 mark
the non-twin turbo which was originally linked to 'only' gives 500hp but is only £52,000

Ah well, i almost made it to the toilet....

That thing is stunning! Ill take that over well, pretty much anythign on the roads today.

And yes:

Hennessey Viper Venom 1000 = £130kish

2006 Viper = £50kish (probably the specced 52k)

The car you linked to and the performance stats are of two totally different cars.

I'd go with the Viper over the Veyron, seeing as in most legal circumstances it would be just as good as the Veyron, sure it would have 'bad handling' but when are you honestly going to get to test it?

If it wasn't my money, I'd go with the Veyron just for the exclusivity factor - it must feel so special to own one, when only a handful will ever be made.

If it was my money, I'd go with the Viper without a second thought :D

The Veyron wont be as exlusive as that viper.

I'd love to see these two machines go head to head. I reckon the Bug would hand the Viper its ass in pretty much every situation tbh!
