new dream pc advice

i will, if i notice/care about the performance. :D
Those chairs are some art deco ones, they are wicked.....although i never sit in them (they are loaned to us, as we only recently moved in) The chair i normally sit in is my High backed leather massage chair, or the sofa, or the ikea rocker chairs i have. basically those chairs do suck but i never sit there so i dont want new ones lol

Replace those chairs with more ikea rockers, best chairs ever.
Someone needs to update design with a tray on them so they're better for TV dinners.

You can still go down the triple monitor route with the kit you've got.

If you get two 20" monitors and run them tilted 90 degrees either side of the 30", then SoftTH ( http://www.kegetys.net/SoftTH/ ) will happily drive them like that and as long as you're running Vista isn't subject to the resolution limitations that the Matrox box has (8192 pixels wide I think is the limit, 4096 if you're running XP).

EDIT: Here's a post I was looking for from someone with that setup: http://www.kegetys.net/forum/index.php?topic=125.0

Just to mention - I have 3 x 22" monitors
I wish I went for 1 x 30" and 1 x20" or 22"
Luckily for me in my business I can swap around the set ups, so when my next pc comes I can adjust what monitors are there and invest in a 30".

my 3 22"ers were £700

It can be spent on a better setup.

notice people don't look at left hand pages, wel li notice i don't use my left monitor and it also blocks of using the desk as your surrounded by monitors.

Hand if doing work, msn, watching a dvd and also playing poker. But to be honest its not good for your mental health! im not a quad core...

How useful you'll find 3 monitors depends if you want them to increase your FOV for games or if you'll only use them to get a bigger desktop.

loving how long my case is taking to be done...could have saved like 400£ if i ordered the bits now, which I would have done had i known the case would take over 5 weeks :(

its hardly suprising that brand spanking new tech fell in price though is it? And I appreciate it might be taking a while but there was no one holding a gun to your head making you buy parts you couldn't install.

I feel your pain mate because the 280s appear to have a dropped a lot but I don't think thats your cases fault, custom cases take a lot of time! :)

I'm not blaming it on the case, just wish i'd got a estimate on the time taken first. As i foolishly assumed a few weeks would be enough lol

did he buy all these parts only like few months away and he could have saved loads of money

I bought the parts a few weeks ago, ordered the case a few weeks before that. Mobo and Graphics have come down a lot since i bought them, rest is more or less the same.

Was expecting them to come down by this much, just thought id have played on it before it devalued itself lol

Its the problem with computers, after 6-12months its no longer top of the range and you find out you could make the spec for a fraction of the price.
