New Drivers - how much insurance you paying?

well passed my test last may got my car in june 1.25 zetec fiesta cost my £380 to insure im 29 thats with quinn direct

22 with pass+, driving a 1.4 polo = £495 Fully Comp with Swinton.

Pass+ covered the cost of taking it, i found that adding my cousin (female 22 with no acc.) reduced it more.

£600 - i'm 18, mum is first driver although i'm fully comp etc. 1.3 toyota starlet, 1998 ish (gwan =DDD) but dad got £200 back from old insurance as there was still some time left on it, voila, £400 in the end
from insure.co.uk or something i think ;s, <--- bad with cars and all that jiveeee

I talked to a few places and most didn't cut down much on the PP, sub £100, because I'd already been DRIVING (not insured on my own, but on mums policy) for 6-7 months.

The 2.0 Mondeo costs ~£2200.

The Rover 214i is a bit cheaper at ~£1850.

Not much difference but a heck of a difference in car!

Insurance sucks the big one at 18 with 0ncb :(

rofl, bet i could insure that rover for £300 :p

sux2be <20 and driving :D

Been driving 16months.
First year at 18, 1.2 Punto for 800TPFT with mum as the main driver.
This year at 19, 2.2VTEC Prelude for 1498TPFT with 0ncb in my own name.

I have a .900 Fiat Cinquecento, there was myself and my dad on the policy I had (had to take if off the road because the repayments were killing me financially) £87 a month spread over 10 months So just under £900 and thats TPFT with me still on Provisional :(

If I pass my driving test next week, I'll be 17 with no NCB, and it'll cost me around £1400 with Pass Plus for a 1.2 Clio.

Was 19 when I passed, insured on a Toyota Yaris T-Sport 2002 model, worth £5.5k insurance was 2k

Im just 17 and my Rover 214si costs £1197 TPFT with pass plus using norwich union.

Pre pass plus was £1585 so i saved over £400

Would recomend Norwich union.
