I had similar circumstances to you, but I was 19 and paid less on a modified 2.0 Mondeo!
 
19, O NCB, 325i Sport E30 , Just over £2000 fully comp.

20 next month and NCB in may I think it is, which should reduce it by quite a margin.
 
Was 18 when I got the Pug 106 (1.5D :( ), it cost £600 TPFT and the second year was £420 TPFT.
I'm looking at ~£350 in March for renewal at 20 years old with 2 years ncb.

thats less than £100 less than mine and mines fully comp and I've only been driving a year

The post code seems to make an absolutely huge difference mate, look at the quotes diamond seem to give me, then look at what AGW and Tesla are paying :eek:
 
toooooo much....but hey its northern ireland were used to been trousered.

£1700 on a 1.9 dcl polo 96. 18 years old driving a year and 1 years NCB.

was £2800 last year been 17 and 0 NCB
 
I get ridiculous quotes of 3k+, Im hoping when I get a car that it is more down to earth!

Something I dont understand is even just third party insurance is ridiculous - where in theory my postcode wouldnt make much difference, because if the car got nicked they wouldnt have to pay for it anyway :confused:

O well Pass Plus should help.
 
24 Years old, 1 year NCB, £890 FC (London), Group 5 car (306 HDi)

It was £1300 but I saved £400 instantly but moving a mile away. Literaly 1 mile down the road.

Post code does very much matter............
 
21, had my license 2 months, £540ish on a clio 1.2l, fully comp. That's not with pass plus (although I do have it now).
That was with Tesco, everywhere else was quoting £700+ for TPFT
 
i feel for you young guys... just hate to think what it will cost in 10 years time when my kids learn to drive.

just to make you all sick... 230 quid fc on an 1.8 vvti 52 plate avensis with protected ncb (3 claims in 5 years= no penalty). just had a quote on my bike too... tuned yamaha thundercat fc again.. 140 quid. helps that i'm 39 and claim free for the last 20 years.

I always get a good reaction when I post this...

£2200 on a Rover 214 16v... 19 years old, Pass Plus. Would have been £4400 without :D

Now 20, renewed in November, 45% NCD (however many years that equates to) £1400.

Moving house at the end of this month... hello <£1000 insurance :cool:
 
£1980 TPFT on a Ford Capri 2.8i @ 23 Years of age.

When i get my 1st years NCB in July it drops to around £1k FC although i'm hoping to stick it on a classic policy next year for £2 - 300 FC, and then insure something around a 1.1 or a small diesel for Work TPFT for another few hundred.
