I've decided I need a new double duvet so....where do I get one from? :o

I went to JL (competitor??) today but would rather not pay JLs healthy margins but I want to have a look/feel the product though, so what other high street retailers are there?

Just out of intrest what tog do most people have? Are combinations worth it?

And yes...duvets...I know

I likew my duvet to be heavy, but low TOG, I think mine is 10 and I find it a bit too warm most of the time.

Got it from ******

Have you never been to the "high street"?

I thought most people would assume high street retailers 'that sell duvets...'

Probably looking to spend up to about £200. Perhaps one of those out of town superstores might be better. Is there a 'bed company' or am I just making that up?

My gf bought me one of this Satin duvet sets for a laugh, we put it on the tried to have sex in it. It was a riot, best sex I'd ever had cos we couldn't stop laughing as we slipped and slided all over the place. Best £16 she ever spent at Primark!!

I got mine from an online retailer that sells almost everything, I think it's a 10.5 tog Fogarty synthetic. You'll be able to see some in a home furnishings store like Dunelm Mill but it's almost certainly worth price matching online if you like a brand named one.

I wholeheartedly recommend Debenhams. Plus they have a sale at the moment, so you can't go wrong.

Since I am going to spend half my life for the next 15 years under it, I would have thought £200 is the least I could do.

I picked up a new duvet and pillow set at Aldi yesterday, as I realised mine could be do with being replaced.

It was £12.99 - possibly not the best quality in the world but last night was the best nights sleep i've had in weeks, so comfy!

You don't need to spend £200, £50 max could get you a good quality duvet.

Feather/down duvets are a must at this price. Even £60-70 will get you something like a giant, lovely and warm cloud.

Ikea are pretty good. I have a combination feather duvet from there with a 9 tog and 3 tog popper on/off part. It's far warmer than any other 12 tog duvet I've owned, and only needs both parts in the coldest of cold weather.
