I'm looking at getting a new end can for the TT600. For the moment I'm not going for a full system. Akrapovic don't do an end can for my bike from what I can tell, I've narrowed it down to 2 that seem decent, one of which is blue flame and the other is Quill. However I'm open to suggestions. :)

A shame that you can't get Akkers for the TT.
Renegade and Arrow always get good write ups on Trumpets.

Quill Tri Oval Titanium :D gets my recommendation looks and sounds brilliant, and the good thing with blueflame and quill is they both have lifetime warranty or last time I checked blue flame do, and both for same money really, id edge towards Quill giving slightly more power from some reviews ive read but its really down to what you think looks best really.

Yeah both are pretty sweet

Best bit with bikes now is police have stopped their anti race can crusade.. was up poole quay on tuesday and at least 50% of the 1000s of bikes there seemed to have loud race cans. Apparently they still don't like cans marked 'not for road use', but if you get a can with removable baffle and as long as your not a nusance with it they turn blind eye.

Yea my Quill can is BSAU stamped but its louder than any other legal can ive heard with the baffles in lol, and the Quill gives a lovelly racey rasp to it even with the baffle in.
In my opinion mine sounds better than most of my mates with yoshi, they disagree because theirs is louder but theres loud and theres a enjoying a nice sound, obviously dosent give as much power as a yoshi or akka but theyre all marginal anyway unless you get a full length can.

Ok now I'm torn! lol!

Though Arrow cans as Rilot mentioned seems rather good too... I guess I'm going to have to be a girl and choose it on looks! lol! :p

Decisions decisions... now I have to wonder whether I go for carbon or titanium... :D And if I go for blueflame whether or not I add the carbon tip on the end or no :p I think probably not.. Dual or single! Argh! Definitely oval though.

My Dad took his SV1000SZ to the Carbon Can Company to have an end can custom done for him. Wasn't expensive and they are the best sounding of all of the end cans we listened to in deciding.

Akrapovic were just totally the wrong style for a Twin, work better on a four I suppose!

Quill and Titanium, theyre so damn light! do iiit! :p

I've checked the carbon can is lighter!

It has to look good one this bike:

Was tempted by the anodised Ti... but I think the carbon would suit it niecly, a nice contrast? No?

Quil if your buying new. TBH though just get on Eblag and get whatever comes up at a decent price! You'll only buy a sexy one then ruin it by dropping at a standstill :(

I have a Blueflame evo can on the CBR and it sounds great, much nicer than the Micron and Yashimura exhausts I've heard on them in the past. Great looking cans too, with the single or twin tips in all sorts of finishes.

Got myself a new exhaust on Tuesday, and bloody hell the difference is astounding, both in sound, and in performance. The mid-range gains are awesome. Picked up a Quill Tri-Oval, phoned them at 12:30pm, got there for 2pm, and about 90 minutes later I was riding away :D. They were going to fit a full length, but I asked if I could have the stubby on display lol, they were a good bunch of fellas there, did it for £230 including fitting which was nice of em :D.

It sounds brilliant, even with the baffle in, which is actually out, because it sounds ever better haha.

What about a Fuel can?
They make some nice cans and are very good to deal with.
Gotta admit the Tri-ovals do look nice.

Quill cans used to be made near me many moons ago, just a small industrial unit knocking out cans by the bucket load.

Defo get one with a removable baffle though :D

Removable baffle is a must!! I think I'm edging towards the Quill Oval for sure, but now it's just... carbon or anodised ti..... Argh!!

I'm not a fan of ebay really... don't really use it, maybe I should?! :o

My dropping days are over I hope... And besides **** happens, I can't let something like the possibility of the bike being knocked over or me dropping it (though it's pretty light to drop) stop me from upgrades!!

After that, the suspension and then power commander :D

Then... probably a new bike! lol! :p

Anodised ti all the time! Fair play on the ebay thing. The other option could be a triumph owners forum or any of the big big forums (VD/BCF). I'm not saying you shouldn't buy one new, I just find it heartbreaking when I come to sell bike on and it's not worth anymore cos of the can, and the can isn't worth much second hand either.
