Each to their own I guess.
I use Akkers on my RSV and they look and sound gorgeous.
I'm rather fond of Akrapovic pipes though. The RSV is my 3rd bike where I've fitted Akkers. The internal build quality of other stuff (bar Yoshi) just doesn't even come close.

Thats why you keep the original like I've done :p.

The Quill actually comes with a Lifetime Guarantee. So they'll look after it bike after bike if ends up with a fault or something. Just means you have to get a new link pipe made up.

And I'd go with a Titanium can over Carbon, just prefer the look, but apparently due to the vibrations or something the carbon fibre can slowly degrade and start suffering cracks or something(I was partially listening to the manager or Quill chatting to someone lol).

What one you going to order? Tri-Oval, or T3 or what? I'm sure you'll love the sound, I do. Parents & my street don't but that's another matter haha.

Edit: Just realised the T3 doesn't have a removable baffle, only the Evo-2 and the Tri-Oval lol.
 
Great stuff Freefaller you wont be dissapointed first time you fire it up then fire it up with no baffles :D

Also dont get a carbon can for a twin, they will break lol.
 
Received it and fitted it yesterday. Went for a blast - sound absolutely immense, especially with that incredible Triumph induction noise. There's clearly a lot more torque noticeable. I then just had to do it. The baffle had to come out! :eek: Never before has so much pleasure been passed on by a piece of metal :D
 
Good Stuff Freefaller, is yours noisy with the baffles in?
Mine is noiser baffles in then some of the basic cans baffles out lol, Baffles still out though :D
 
Sounds throatier with it out, and bangs and pops more on over run which I love. Still makes an incredible sound with the baffle in though. I nearly didn't come home from my ride last night!

Yea I found the Quill Pops and Bangs more than any other can I have tried, probably needs setting up with a PC3 but I love the sound to much :D
 
Let me know if yours shows sings of burning around the river bands, mine has so debating if I should take a pic and send it to them see what they say.
