So they are just knicking the cars in the time old fashioned way because unless they have a key then they'd have to break into the car, force the steering lock off, and the ignition barrel would have to be removed. Nothing new there then and the most common manner in which vehicles are stolen.
The thing is these cars were probably being stolen before in the same numbers, but now other owners are focussed upon it the numbers have become more apparent, not increased. Most keyless vehicles are being stolen by organised gangs in certain areas and targeting premium vehicles, such as Range Rovers....
