Regarding the jump to quote arrows, they are not working on both my work machine and at home. (Chrome)

If the quote is on the same page it fails, if its on the previous page its fine. I'm using 100 posts per page.

It works fine in IE and Edge.

Quotes work fine on iOS and Chrome (Windows).

Also tested at 100ppp and it worked

How odd. I wonder what could be the cause?

Edit: Ok, I've just tried it in Chrome on my phone (S7E) and it doesn't work either! But the Samsung browser does work. WTF, I have no idea.

Anyone?!

It's been like this for a while but has just cost me something in the MM. Despite watching the thread I got no notifications for it and it's not just the MM either. Multiple times a day I see threads I've responded to multiple times showing new responses but I get no notification, yet a thread that hasn't had any responses in weeks or months give me notifications. The 'watch' symbol is there, but I get nothing.

It looks like OcUK is running XF 1.5.10 released over a year ago.

1.5.15a is now out, and it fixes a Chrome bug that relates to quote arrow, so that may be the issue.

https://xenforo.com/community/threads/xenforo-1-5-15a-released.134773/#post-1178624

Shortly after the release of 1.5.15, a behavior change in Chrome 61 was identified. We have fixed the issues caused by this behavior change and updated the download to 1.5.15a to indicate that these fixes are included. Please note that these issues are not related to 1.5.15 and will affect previous versions.

The issues caused by this Chrome behavior change include:
  • Clicking a quote attribution link does not scroll the page.
  • The inline moderation overlay is not always positioned correctly when the page is scrolled (thus making inline moderation not always directly usable).
  • Clicking a login link when the page is scrolled does not scroll to the page top.

same here, i seem to see more "
than i do pics.

Who is your ISP?
It appears to be an issue with IMGUR in particular. Nothing on my account shows up either.
Emailed them and they say it is my ISP (vodafone) hijacking SSL sessions?
They said "It has been reported that changing your DNS settings to Google's DNS allows a possible work around, this is not guaranteed."

I suppose the difficulty is in the amount of customisations that had to be applied to make the XF work have functionality of old vB. Those would have to be most likely re-applied and re-inserted into the code every time there is an update, which a) requires dedicated maintenance crew/coder b) is something that no company wants to do to live site with large user base, which in turn becomes primary reason why popular forums usually start leaking data all over the net.
Anyway, it's been many months since (accidental) launch of XF and issues pointed on the last 20 pages, problems with compatibility, broken css and template problems that made a lot of users write their own code to fix strange font sizes, weird facebook button placements next to post counters, misaligned items etc - they haven't been fixed for a long time and they probably won't be fixed unless, if I understand the procedure correctly, you report them singularly on per user basis through a section somewhat cryptically named "Forum Content Discussions". Even things that are widely known to admins for months, repeatedly discussed etc - like names and surnames starred out as if they were swear words, on principle - no post in FCD = no fix. It's less of a "we're here to listen, post bugs and we'll fix them" and more of a "stop moaning - file a report". :D That's how I understand it works now.

FWIW, the jump to quote arrows are working again for me on both my work machine and at home, I've changed nothing aside from any updates to Chrome and the extensions.

I have no idea what caused it.
