Yeah, there's a button at the very top left which says "Mark Forums Read"
Losing our smilies would have been a deal-breaker.I like how you managed to save the original smiles and not have all the emoji's.

Clicking the yellow envelope icon goes to the first unread post (the first one with a 'New' tag in the top right).
Clicking the thread title does the same.
Clicking the time/date under the username on the right hand side goes to the very last post in the thread.
On a thread where you have no unread posts.
Clicking the grey envelope icon goes to the first post in the thread.

If you'd even bothered to look at the front of GD or the front of the main forum list, you'd have seen the sticky and the announcement. If you'd looked at the first post in this thread, you'd have seen the announcement. If you'd even looked at one of the 124 pages in this thread (I only see 26 pages), you'd have seen it mentioned.
It's everywhere, all over the place. I really don't see how we can make it more obvious. Is it any wonder we're getting frustrated with people not having the ability to see further than the end of their noses?
Just because something hasn't been implemented instantly or commented on, doesn't mean we're not looking at it.
This is something that's already been raised (before we even went live, actually).
This is how I think it should work at the moment.
Clicking the thread title will always go to the first page of the thread.
Clicking the envelope will always go to the first unread post (this could be anything from the first post in the thread to the last post).
Clicking the time of the last posting over on the right will go to the very last post.
Images wider than your screen width are automatically resized to your screen width. I'm not sure what else you want from that feature.

Rules haven't changed and we have no plans to change them.
