New G5 mouse coming to OC???

isn the USB conection faster as well.....

so tempted to sell my G7 for one of these...... even the fast swap of battery packs gets annoying after a while!

I didn't realise that this was a new feature? My mouse has had it for yonks and I thought it was the norm.

it was the norm until they decided to put one button on?? now theyv gone back to 2, im still using an mx500 though, love my 2 thumb buttons

Logitech don't even have the 2 thumb version in stock:

I understand that the scroll wheel of the G5 mouse does not respond properly when used on your computers.

We have tested the G5 mouse here on our systems and this issue does not exist. Hence the issue is most likely that the mouse that you have received is defective. Unfortunately, we also do not have the new G5 mouse with two thumb buttons for replacement. However, I can send you a new G5 mouse with the single thumb button.

I am sorry for the inconvenience caused.

I dont mind having just the one thumb button, i only use it for 'Push to Talk' on TS anyway.
Plus i much prefer the 'rusty' look as per this G5.

What gaming mouse mat's are people using? I'm going to get one this week, and i'm thinking of getting this Everglide Titan

This was why i went back to the MX518 from the G5, only one thumb button. Yey also as someone mentioned the lizard skin type thingy majigger looks funky

Good news, Logitech have shipped me the latest G5 Mouse!

Should be here on Monday at the earliest, or earlier.

So now I will have 2 G5 mice.
