New game : The Walking Dead Saints & Sinners Ch.2 (Retribution). Release 1/12/22.

yeh i enjoyed the 1st too but didn't complete it as i found some of the gun battles with human npc's a bit hard going. i didn't really bother with looting and crafting weapons etc. going to give this 2nd one a proper try, do all the looting and crafting from the start to hopefully get me some good weapons to help in shoot outs.

I still haven't finished the first one. My GPU failed shortly after getting the game and just never returned to it after I got my GPU back from RMA.

Idk whether to buy on Steam or Meta because although I prefer my games to be on Steam, Meta might be cross buy with pcvr and standalone.

it should tell you if its cross buy
The Meta page for it just says :

It doesn't mention anything about crossbuy
Edit: S&S1 was/is crossbuy so i imagine 2 will be too.

The original game was one of the first premium dedicated VR releases. It'll be a total shame if they flush that legacy down the toilet, with a half baked mobile game. I'm hopeful that if they're pushing for a PSVR2 release, there's a credible standard they're going to attain to.

As a fan of the first game, it's a depressing look when you see an install of 310mb. The required space is conspicuous by it's absence on the steam page:(

from the gameplay vids i've seen the game does like it's a proper premium pcvr release i.e. good graphics etc. that 311mb install won't be the install obviously but yeah why is it showing that? S&S1 is about 31gb in size so lets see what 2 is.

according to that, your right

hmm, not sure about this

but steam still says Late 2022
I agree! that uploadvr page is where i got my info from but apparently some very recent youtuber gameplay vids (beardo benjo etc) say it's feb 2023 for pcvr  i got downvoted on reddit for saying it's 1st dec 2022 lol so i dunno. just hope if it is 2023 then Q2 version is crossplay because i won't be buying both, if it's not i'll just wait till feb for pcvr version.

That 311mb looks like it might be on the money.

God awful, it genuinely looks like a 20 years old average PS2 game. There's no way they can release this to the PC market, no wonder they kept it under a shroud until release.
