New gaming build

@Rabbie1 Team Group RAM is good, thats 8Pack's go to brand. Corsair coolers are great too, i'm still running a Gen 1 H100i CPU Cooler from Corsair.
In regards to cooling, you can never really have too much, just make sure you have a good airflow from front to back. Tempered glass cases do tend to have a reduced airflow when compared to a traditional mesh front case.
If you keep an eye on temps, you can always add some additional or larger fans in the future if required.

As above ... 8 pack 3200hz for £209 and overclock that b**** to 3800hz plus or Aorus RGB for £170 . They are Samsung B-Die as well but slack timings so set speed to 3600hz and leave the timings

Both kits are ace !!!! Both kits look amazing in Aorus boards

@seagate_surfer - Brilliant thank you for the info and your support.

@[OcUK]PREDATOR - I'm going to go with the team group ram based on the recommendations on here it seems the go to for ram. That should fit nicely in with the case then I don't want overkill of RGB just nice and subtle. I think that cooler should do the job then for the CPU plus some added RGB should be nice. Just hope the case is enough as I'm not 100% sure on it.

@orbitalwalsh - so the ram and cooler i have added in should be a good fit to that system then?

Ill post the full system in a few minutes that should hopefully be the final build. Just a monitor, mouse, keyboard and speakers to get now for it.

@Rabbie1

looks good!

get OCUK/ @[Ocuk]PREDATOR to push price down on the Superflower to at least match the corsair at least . Via trade they do nice discounts and sure they could knock it down £10 to match the very least ;)

shame aorus 2080ti still on pre-order. would have looked ace with board and RGB case !

8 Pack ram is solid as a treat - again wondering if they can strike a deal when it was on sale for £190 a few days ago - specically since you sent email when IT WAS listed on sale :)

dont forget the Thermal Grizzly paste for £4 odd :)

Yea I'll speak with them to see the best deal they could do on the system afterall I will be buying the full system and monitor they are building and overclocking. I am a returning customer after 8 years of buying my last system off them.

I will email through the new spec now as its been updated to reflect the new PSU RAM & CPU cooler.

That would look really nice is there much difference other than RGB? Im kinda pushing my money to its limits dont think I can push anymore.

Just have the monitor now to decide on not too sure what to do I'm gonna have a tighter budget on the monitor than first expected. Seen these too one is on sale for what looks a very good price.

with the aorus board? its custom designed PCB were as the Zotac is reference design boards with aftermarket cooler .

would either push 4K Acer

or push for 1440p over ultra wide 1080p

included screens that are freesync but will be support by nvidia on the 15th

I'll see what happens with the build first of all it may be released by then would it make a big difference over the zotac card?

Im not sure at all with the monitor not worried if it isnt 4k I just want the best monitor that'll pair with the card would that be a 4k monitor or one with a better refresh rate with gsync/freesync?

If personally rather push 1440p high Hz screen as hard as it can go whilst still maintaining Ultra settings then gaming at solid 60fps 4k .
But depends on the gamer, specially when playing online in fast paced games like overwatch etc .

Push IPS/VA panel with 1440p though, nicer colours

I will be playing the likes of COD BF etc mostly FPS I would imagine with some other games more than likely.

What screen do you believe would suit this play?

This was the build I went with in the end @orbitalwalsh sacrificed the 8 pack ram for the slightly cheaper team group rgb version ram. I have also changed over the case to the Coolermaster H500 mesh case. I was convinced by the cooling or the price in the Corsair case so felt forced to change as wasnt happy. Feel a lot better with the Coolermaster case and as I love gunmetal grey fits right in. Also added a m2 ssd and a ssd for storage. Removed windows as I have a copy at home I can install onto it. Would this still be overclocked without Windows?

This price will now also allow me to buy a decent monitor in around ~500 too enjoy.

What you think of this build? I think its the first version im fully happy with.

I'll keep an eye over it already sent that final spec over to OcUK I'll wait on there reply first.

This is the monitor I have also decided to go with think it would be a good fit for the system.

is that monitor G-sync approved ?

if not and you want 1440p 144hz then push this
