New Google behaviour!

Who else has noticed the new effect?

When you open google.co.uk there is no text, just the logo and text box, and you can just type what you want. But when you hover the mouse into the page everything gets displayed.

I like it.

What are your opinions?

They changed it well over a week ago asim18.

Personally, I don't see the point in it.

It displays the rest of the text when the mouse moves, which is always instantly when I open Google.

Before I was blind but now I can see.
to be honest it would be better to have a on off that remembers the setting. and some of it is actually quite relevant.

the point is, if your not going to use your mouse and just type then google hides the links as you wont be clicking them . once mouse movement is detected , it reveals the links anticipating you clicking them .

Well if thats true they went the wrong way, there is probably more to download now just because of the javascript needed to perform that effect

I use iGoogle so it doesn't offer me anything at all this new feature.

Hmmm I don't seem to be able to get google.co.uk, all I get now even when I type that address is igoogle.
