New GPU for I7-870 2.93Ghz

Second hand! :( Gutted!

looking at the unit, mobo and cpu cables are hard wired then sata/pcie/perip all separate

not fancy but, or you can get 4 pin to 6 pin/ sata to 6 pin converters

would get the adapter as your PSU is a solid unit

Be careful that the PSU will have enough extra to power the card. if you dont have a 6 pin PCIe on the power supply it may be a sign that its a bit underpowered.

FYI the 1050TI doesnt need any external power, so if you need to return the 1060 have a look at one of them. it should give you all the power you need for 1080p

unit its 700w cooler master- port are there but seems seller didnt include all the cables for OP :(
But what am I converting? Again, a tad confused! Sorry :(

your converting cables that power either sata devices like SSD or 4 pin molex to 6 Pin PCIe to power your GPU. your unit is quite strong so will be ok- not ideal solution but will work

thats assuming you have another sata or molex 4 pin cable ? personally wouldn't use the one connected to your drives but use another one just connected to the PCIe converter
