but if you dont want to, you need to run both those 6 pins to one 8 pin. then a 2x molex to one 6 pin.
Being that the HX is nearly 12 years old, it's probably worth replacing it with a new PSU that has 8 Pin PCI-E cables as standard.
If you bought the HX new then you've certainly had your moneys worth from it.
