I'm looking to replace my old graphic card and need some advise on a replacement.

I am currently playing Team Fortress 2 and my current card copes with this game very well, but i am looking to play COD 4 or Vegas 2, and not sure if my card will cope with these games.

I currently have an Asus ATI X1550 Radeon.

To be able to play the above mentioned games what card would you recommend as a bare minimum.

Just for the record i am running a AMD 64x2 dual core processor 2.2
and 1 gig of ram (Ram soon to be upgraded)

ATI 3650!! my brother play cod4 on 1024x768 4xaa and all other settings on max textures on extra gets about 34fps avarange but its playable :) he completed cod4 3 times and i didnt hear any complains about lag or something :) rest of the system pentium d2.8 not oced 2gb ram ddr2 so i think you should be fine with that card :) not sure about vegas 2 :/ i only get 40fps with mine 3850 crossfire 1280x1024 rez all maxed out
 
If you want ultra cheap then a 7600GS will cost you £30. Otherwise go for the 8600GT (£40). both cards are great clockers too so you can get that extra performance out of them.

He could grab a 7600GT 2nd hand for £25-30 in MM. I sold one of mine a while back for that and will prob do the other shortly... I'd say 3650 at £50 sounds a good compromise

Really don't know what to do.

I know naff all about graphic cards, all i do know is that i need it to be able to run all of the latest games, fancy COD4 at some point.

I was hoping for someone to say get this card and every one agree, life would be so much simplier.
