New Hard disk

Hi

Currently upgrading my computer, do many of you use a SDD hard disk, i have seen mixed reviews about them. do you need any special kit. i only have a large drive slot free (cdrom) size can you get a mounting kit for this.

You don't have to get any special mounting kit for a SSD as it has no moving parts. Some people have used Velcro, others just lay it wherever they have space, I used to have mine sitting on the bottom of my case, blue tak also works.

None at all - SSD's have no moving parts so within reason they don't need the same care as a mechanical HDD.

Perfect laptop drives in my opinion, only drawback is space/price ratio.

Yea nothing special need to mount it, bit of duct tape works well too lol.
