New HDD dead?

Got a HP Micro server and installed windows all good, went then to add 3 hdd all new not so good.

With all 4 in post hangs on one of the new disks, if pop out no post hang. Originally left in and when in drive manager 2 of the new ones said capacity and initialized the 3rd didnt and when try initialize says I/O error. Swapped bays and same error on same disk.

Disks;
HP 250gb - New Built in
Seagate 3tb - Old Fine
WD Red 2gb - New Fine (Competitor)
WD Red 3gb - New wont initialize (OCUK)

Is it likely to be dead or am i missing something? Tried contact OCUK but phone line goes dead after queing ~6 mins twice can i do online RMA?

i assume thats 3tb, in which case have you used gpt rather than mbr?

Yeah but wont let me get that far as the seagate said initialized then allowe dme format gpt the wd red wont let me do that

How is it configured in the bios? Same as all the other ports?

Would guess so didnt touch bios and have swapped the caddies around and its always the red it hangs on not the port if that makes sense

unless i have to do something else to the bios coz its a 3tb but then the other 3tb works fine
