I like maxtor as they never failed me and my 30gb maxtor is still going strong after about 5 years :p

I have a 200gb maxtor as well. Thats full tho now. So...

What drives are good and back it up with reviews please. Im lookin for 250gb - 300gb sata ii drive as there backward compatible. Other two maxtors are ide so fancy a change and yes i have sata connectors.

Im lookin for about 50 quid max (that price inc shiping and vat) so 50 in total.

Cheers.

i was working on a friends maxtor the other day and i noticed they get really really hot so i wpould buy a western digital or a seagate baracuda as i have one of each and they run quietly and are cool, plus they arereliable and cheap to buy.
