New hdd needed

I need a new 3.5 internal hdd as one of mine is failing.

Need at least 1tb
min 7200
not too noisy
reliable

Will be going in sig pc. So need to know if sata 3 will work on a sata 1 board?Have always gone for samsung in the past but not sure what is best now. There are a lot of bad reviews on most drives and not sure what to go for.

Anyone help me out here?

I assume you mean 1TB

Did look at that one but seems to be a few issues with noise not sure how likely it would be if i got a noisy one.

Western Digital Caviar Green 3TB SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache but don't get it from OCUK, look around and you can get it for £30 cheaper.

I've just bought a Seagate Barracuda 2tb for £110ish. Bit of a gamble as I've never bought a Seagate before. I haven't received it yet but they've got decent reviews.

Had bad experience with Seagate so don't want to go that route again.

Samsung SpinPoint F4 EcoGreen 2TB SATA-II 32MB Cache it might be 5400rpm but it has 667GB per platter, so outperform most 7200rpm drives and is silent.
