This one kinda snuck up on us :)

Sorely tempted to pick up the cheaper Mini, now, it's an absolute steal.

Drooling over the 24" iMac. Wish I could afford one :p

It's also a shame no MBP updates! I'm not going to shut up about it until they do haha..

I've been waiting long enough, I need one for uni as I have no computer and i'm doing a computer science degree! hah!

Apples actions of late seem to be pointing very clearly to one thing. On september 12th we WILL see the addition of movie downloads to the itunes store.

A larger screen on the consumer aimed iMac and more capable minis hint that apple is readying it's mainstream line-up for (HD?) movie playback.

And if it wasn't obvious already "it's SHOWtime" ??? Could that tagline be any more movie/film based??

I am impressed that they include 1Gb of RAM as standard in all of the iMacs accept the cheapest, think I will be looking at the iMac line in a year or so when my powermac needs an update.

Same situation. Quite tempted to leave it till the new ones do appear.

Apparently it'll only be Disney films on iTunes.

what about macbook, i know they only came out a few months ago but do you think these would get updated? i want one for my 4th yr at uni in sept and debating if i should just order one now or wait till end of month/oct to order it. i am hovering slightly over the buy now button. :D

especially with the ipod and printer rebates that are going on.

Exactly. Buying a MBP now would be a bit like premature ejaculation.
That's one way of looking at it  my 2year old G4 powerbook is certainly feeling a bit impotent by now :)

Looks like I slightly mistimed my Mac Mini purchase. Picked up a Core Duo a few weeks ago for the usual £529 price. Anyway, not too disappointed as I need a SuperDrive and the only advantage of the new Mini (with SuperDrive) is a slight speed boost. :)
