I have to agree that price of entry is a little steep and sometimes I have to do a :eek: when people like EVH and Feek post stories of yet another piece of Apple kit they have purchased.

Still saying that I own four Apple devices and will be adding a desktop computer to the lineup soon. It just means my wallet has to take a hammering. I think it's worth it though. :o:D
 
The 10.5.7 update apparently has kexts for ATI 4xx0 series kit and indications of Nehalem architecture support, just to further fuel the rumour mill :)
 
I've been hanging on for a mac mini for soo long I am not sure I can be bothered. Apple tv (all be it at 720p) is doing a good enough job of streaming my films to tv. Still excited to see the prices and new specs though :D. Apple's hype generation is just too good.
 
I'm most interested to see what new graphics cards appear for the Mac Pro and whether I can fit one in my 2008 model. I can speculate that whatever it is, it'll have mini display port connectors though so I'll have to get converters.

This is Apple we're talking about. Signifcantly cheaper would still be expensive. :p I want it to play 1080p without any hassle, I'm hoping that isn't too much to ask.

Interested in the graphics card myself. May even see the DVI to DisplayPort adapter if the cards don't do Display Port natively.

Will also be keeping an eye out for a 30" display.

It's all happening.
 
I just hope Apple realise how much stronger the dollar is at the moment [in regards to recent years]. Their prices when converted over are usually bad enough - if they get a little over-excited on that front we could have seriously expensive hardware shoot up in the store very soon.
